Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
How many benefit sanctions have been applied by DWP's Jobcentre
Plus Offices. By sanctions, I mean complete removal of benefits
including JSA, ESA and any other benefits covered by benefit
sanctions. Please answer the following questions:
Question 1: By Chesterfield JC+ during January to March 2011?
Question 2: By Chesterfield JC+ during January to March 2010?
Question 3: By Stavely JC+ during January to March 2011?
Question 4: By Stavely JC+ during January to March 2010?
Question 5: By all Jobcentre Plus offices during January to March
2011?
Question 6: By all Jobcentre Plus offices during January to March
2010?
Question 7: How many claims have been closed down as a result of
sanctions?
Question 8: What happens to the claimants whose claims are closed
down?
Question 9: How many claimants become homeless as a result of
sanctions?
Question 10: How are these claimants managing to eat and find

Question 11: Does DWP believe claimants are helped nearer to work
as a result of sanctions?
