The request was partially successful.

From: Kay McLoughlin

9 February 2012

Dear Shepway District Council,

Could you please advise when the lease for the Beach Huts is due
for renewal?

Could you please advise the procedure to apply for control of the
Beach Huts Lease and where that information will be displayed or
available to view?

Please be advised that by 'Beach Hut Lease' I am referring to the
lease controlling all the Beach Huts and the maintenance thereof
not the individual contracts provided to Beach Hut users.

Yours faithfully,

Kay McLoughlin

Dear Kay

Further to the above response, i can confirm there is no standard procedure. With leases such as these it all depends if the Tenant serves a s26 Notice or if the Council serves a s25 Notice and then thereafter it is a negotiated procedure which is unique to that particular lease. Thank you.

Kind regards
