BBC Rogue Traders Broadcast w/c 4th October

Alistair McGregor made this Freedom of Information request to Lancashire Constabulary

The request was refused by Lancashire Constabulary.

From: Alistair McGregor

12 October 2010

Dear Lancashire Constabulary,

In a recent episode of the BBC Watchdog programme a story was
broadcast concerning a Simon Fielding of 1st Call Roofing of
Whalley near Clitheroe. At the end of the programme Simon Fielding
was seen driving aggresively at the BBC presenter Matt Alright and
the BBC camera crew with clear intent to harm.

The BBC's written report of the incident can be found at
http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/watchdog/2010... and
indicates that a punch was also possibly thrown by Simon Fielding.

Would you please advise:-

A. Whether the Lancashire Constabulary was aware of the incident?
B. Whether a report was made to you about this incident by the BBC?
C. Whether a report was made to you about this incident by a perty
other than the BBC?
D. Whether any action is being taken by Lancashire Constabulary in
relation to this incident?
E. Whether Lancashire Constabulary is contemplating taking any
action about this incident?
F. The process a member of the public should follow to instigate
police action over this incident if no action has yet to be taken
by Lancashire Constabulary?

Yours faithfully,

Alistair McGregor
