BBC North Jobs site applications and appointments information
SarahHartley made this Freedom of Information request to British Broadcasting Corporation
The request was successful.
From: SarahHartley
5 December 2011
Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
Please treat the following questions as a Freedom of Information
request.
I would like any response to be made electronically
wherever
possible in spreadsheet form.
This request aims to establish the success or otherwise of the
BBC North online service for jobseekers - referred to by me below
as the jobsbank - which was closed in September with this
announcement
http://www.bbc.co.uk/jobs/north/applicat...
- how many jobseekers registered with the jobsbank?
- how many of those were accepted into the ‘talent pool’ i.e. how
many passed the online testing?
- how many vacancies were advertised via the jobsbank?
- what were the postcodes of the applicants? Please could you
detail how many for each area.
- what were the salary bands of the advertised jobs? Please could
you detail how many vacancies there were for each band.
- how many posts were filled via the jobsbank?
- what were the postcodes of the successful applicants? Please
could you detail how many for each area.
- what were the salary bands of the vacancies filled? Please could
you detail how many of each were successfully filled.
If the decision is made to withhold some of this data using
exemptions in the act, please inform me of that fact and cite the
exemptions used.
If you are only able to release some of the information I would
ask
that you release this data rather than withhold the entire
set.
If you would like more clarification on this issue do not hesitate
to contact me using this site - as I would expect to be contacted
should you need any clarification.
Please can you confirm that you have received this request and I'd
like to remind you that under the freedom of information act 2000
you are bound to respond in 20 days.
Yours faithfully,
Sarah Hartley
