Dear Glasgow Council,
The European Habitats Directive states that a detailed Bat Survey,
identifying roosts, potential roosts and where interferance is
likely in their hunting areas should be carried out well in advance
of tree felling operations.
Scottish Natural Heritage and the Forestry Commission are in
agreement with this Directive.
Could you please provide me with a copy of the survey, covering the
points mentioned above, for the 250 trees to be felled in Dawsholm
Park in the next few weeks.
