Dear Staffordshire Police,
request relating to your reply 2148/10
I have received your reply and understand why you keep referring to
parking now being a council responsibility.
My question refers to "Obstruction" which as you point out is a
matter of interpretation by Staffordshire police. If vehicles are
causing an obstruction then does Staffordshire police accept
Section 137 Highways Act 1980 means they should act to remove the
obstruction?
In order to for Staffordshire police to come to the conclusion that
parking on the corner of Station road in Barton under Needwood by
residents is lawful. Can I request the "risk assessment" or other
reports/documentation which supports you conclusion (applicable to
the past 18 months a reasonable period)
Yours faithfully,
