I am very interested in the impact of the Barrier Busting website.

I would like to know the following information about the
involvement of the Department's officials in the Barrier Busting
programme.
1) Number of meetings attended by officials of the department about
the Barrier Busting programme.
2) Number of suggestions submitted to the site and directed to
officials of the department by officials of Department for
Communities and Local Government.
3) Number of suggestions submitted to the site that have been the
subject of submissions to ministers of the department, or referred
to in submissions to ministers of the department.
The time period of this request is from 1 May 2010 to the date of
this request.

Dear Mr Callahan
Thank you for your FOI request to the Department of Energy and Climate
Change regarding DCLG’s Barrier Busting programme.
I will respond to each of your questions in turn as follows:
1. we are aware of one meeting involving DCLG and DECC officials where
the Barrier Busting programme was discussed,
2. we have dealt with two requests from DCLG officials in relation to
the Barrier Busting programme,
3. There have been no submissions put to DECC Ministers on suggestions
submitted to the Barrier Busting website.
