Barnet implementation of national dementia strategy

1. a copy of the Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS
Trust strategy for implementing the national strategy on dementia
care.

2. a copy of any reviews of how the implementation of the Trust
strategy is proceeding

3. a copy of any service developments planned to improve and/or
expand the Trust's implementation of the national strategy

4. any other document setting out the Trust's policy and strategic
plans and their implementation

I am very surprised at your response.

You state that "The Trust does not have a Trust-wide strategy for
implementing the national strategy on dementia care. Therefore it
was not possible to
provide you with the documents I request.

Can you please provide me with the document you say you can provide
me with but also:

1. Explain why you do not have a Trust wide strategy so long after
the publication of the national strategy

2. Explain how you know whether the local initiatives you refer to
comply with the national strategy

3. Provide me with the extracts from the trust board minutes at
which a decision was made to not develop a timely Trust Board
strategy or to defer one.
