Further to our previous correspondence we now have a response to your FOI request. Please accept our apologies again for the delay.
In answer to your query:
Q1. Bank staff employed by NHS Ealing are obliged to follow the Trust's Sickness Absence Policy in terms of reporting their absence and fitness to work so that their unavailability to work bank shifts as and when required is known and so appropriate support for health conditions is offered
Q2/3. Bank staff work as and when required; there is no mutuality of obligation to provide work nor to attend work and as such there is no eligibility for occupational sick pay.
