Dear Sir or Madam,Could you please tell me who are the shareholders
of the bank of england. I would assume that as it is a nationalised
industry this information is made public.
Could you also please tell/direct me as to how much tax they paid
the last financial year.
Yours faithfully,
Michael James.

Dear responses, FOI,
Thank you for your responses.
However, you failed to answer my original question, so i will ask
it again.
Who are the shareholders of The Bank Of England ?
You also failed to answer one of my second questions as to who owns
HM treasury by stating that "you do not hold records" of this
information.
Why not ?
Kind regards
Yours sincerely,
m james
