Dear Ms Grieve,
Thank you for your letter of 18 November 2011 received on that date
by E-mail advising of a delay in responding to my request for
information made pursuant to Section 1(1) of the Freedom of
Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA).
You have failed to respond within the required timescale as set out
by FOISA and I have allowed a further week and there appears to be
no response as of yet.
I therefore require Strathclyde Police to conduct an internal
review into their handling of the request for information pursuant
to Section 20 of FOISA.
I look forward to your response.
Yours sincerely,
Alistair P Sloan

NOT PROTECTIVELY MARKED
Mr Sloan,
I refer to the undernoted request.
Given the nature of the terminology used, e.g. relating to anti-social behaviour, planned "mobile patrol operations" reported by any means, the content of any correspondence (containing personal data belonging to any individual who has written to the force and due consideration of that fact must be given). This involves the Division and other force departments searching a number of disparate recording systems to ascertain if what you are requesting is held. Unfortunately we have not received a definitive answer from Division yet.
I acknowledge this has been a technical breach of the legislation and must apologise for the delay.
Mrs Grieve has again asked the Division for a response and as soon as relevant information is made available the force will provide an appropriate response.
Kind Regards
Inspector Graeme Cuthbertson
