Bailey Bridge, Church Road, Alrewas

Will Chapman made this Freedom of Information request to Lichfield District Council

The authority would like to / has responded by post to this request.

From: Will Chapman

20 May 2010

Dear Lichfield District Council,

The Bailey Bridge located at the eastern end of Church Road has
served a useful function providing a safe crossing over the mill
stream for many walkers.

Unfortunately, the bridge has suffered damage and public access has
been discouraged but, nevertheless, remains a risk.

I understand that an estimate has been obtained that indicates a
high cost of repair. Under the requirements of the FOI Act, could
you please provide copy(ies) of any estimates/quotations that you
have received for this work along with a copy of any specifications
that were provided to
the quoting parties.

Yours faithfully,

Will Chapman
