Mr Thomas made this Freedom of Information request to Kirklees Borough Council
Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Kirklees Borough Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.
From: Mr Thomas
21 April 2011
Dear Kirklees Borough Council,
Why were no residents of Church Street and surrounding streets in
Crosland Moor not told or consulted that a Bail Hostel was Being
opened?
How many more are going to be opened around Church Street?
Who was the person who gave permission for this Hostel to be
opened?
Who decided it was a good idea to place it in a built up area with
young families and children in the area?
What crimes have the people in the Hostel committed?
Is the Hostel going to be permanent?
Why has there been so many burglaries recently in the locality?
What checks are made on the residents in the Hostel?
Yours faithfully,
A Resident.
