Dear Sir or Madam,
I'd be grateful if you could please tell me:
1) Do you test for bacteriophages in tap water?
2) If the answer to 1) is 'yes', which types of bacteriophage have
been found and in what quantities e.g. ppm?
Yours faithfully,
Mike Jozefiak

Mike,
Thank you for your email regarding the testing of bacteriophages.
As the analysis of these viruses is not required in the Water Supply
(Water Quality) Regulations 2000, Sutton and East Surrey Water do not
test for them.
Kind Regards
Ruth Nelham
