Thank you for your recent request. We are pleased to provide the following
information.
 
     1: Method of Service Provision e.g. In-house, Outsourced, Mixed

     ICT
1     Data and voice Network and Support
Outsourced to Capita SIS, in turn contracting Azzurri to provide VOIP
solution using HP switches and Siemens voice.
The annual cost is: c£300k per annum
 
2     Hardware and support
The scope of this question is unclear. However we procure desktop, laptop
and tablet devices through OGC e-auction, mainly HP desktop and laptops
and IBM tablets. Servers are mainly HP procured through Capita SIS.
The annual budget for 'Technology Refresh'  is currently : c£250k, though
actual expenditure in a given year may vary with changing requirements
 
3     Applications and Support
Application support for most major applications is through the Capita SIS
contract, with hosting in a Logicalis DataCentre.
The annual cost cannot be disaggregated from the overall cost of the
outsourced ICT services provision of c £2.2m per annum.
 
4     Financial Systems used for
     Accounting
Oracle 11 Financials is the current platform, with a planned move to
Oracle 12i next year. This is currently managed in house, supported by
Capita SIS, and hosted in a Logicalis Datacentre.

5     Management Accounting
Oracle 11 Financials is the current platform, with a planned move to
Oracle 12i next year. This is currently managed in house, supported by
Capita SIS, and hosted in a Logicalis Datacentre.
The annual cost of licensing and support is included in the figures above
 
6     Risk Insurance
Insurance & Risk have a 'standalone' claims handling system.  The system
is Netsector and provides SSP. The costs are £21,165 per year for
Hardware and Software support. 
 
 
7     Internal Audit
Internal Audit have recently migrated to using the Council's Sharepoint
platform to provide an in-house solution. As Sharepoint was an existing
strategic platform there is no additional cost for the Internal Audit
system.
 
 
8    Transactional HR System(s)
Northgate Arinso Resource Link is the current platform. This is currently
managed in house, supported by Capita SIS, and hosted in a Logicalis
Datacentre.
As this is an integatreated Payroll/HR system the annual cost of
licensing, support and hosting cannot be disaggregated - please see below
