Dear Mr Carmichael,
Although we have carried out an initial search to try and establish where
the information you have requested might be held, in its current form your
request is too broad to enable us to provide a comprehensive response. To
enable us to direct your request to the appropriate department or team, it
would be helpful if you could provide us with additional information to
narrow the scope of your request. Accordingly, please can you be more
specific with the following:
* What is meant by ‘hardware and support’ and ‘applications and
support’.
* The term hardware can cover allsorts, is this PC’s? Servers?
* Does support include just the engineers or the whole Service Desk
function?
The 20 working day timescale for providing the information you have
requested will be suspended until we receive clarification from
you. On receipt of the clarification we shall send you an acknowledgement
containing the updated date the response will be due by.
We look forward to hearing from you in due course.
Yours sincerely
