Dear Reading Borough Council,

I am requesting the following on behalf of a charity called the Hop
Skip and Jump Foundation

• What was the council’s budget for respite care in 2009, 2010, and
2011?
• How many children in the council’s area were registered as
disabled in 2009, 2010, and 2011?
• How many families in the council’s locality qualified for respite
care in 2009, 2010, and 2011?
• How many respite care schemes are funded or operated by the
council?
• How many of these schemes are daycare?
• How many only offer overnight respite?
• What is the average cost of a single night of overnight respite
care for one family?
• How many children were registered with Special Educational Needs
in the council in 2009, 2010, 2011?
