Dear Kevin Symm,
1. Are you telling me "Liverpool City Council do not have a Autism
Strategy"?
2. If I am wrong, please produce the stategy.
3. Please produce the following documents as stated in your reply:-
(1) The two local self assessments on autism for the Department of
Health including dates when completed and by who.
(2) The questionnaire completed for the National Autistic Society
including dates when completed and by who.
4. A broader pathway for adults with autism (especially if they
have a learning disability) is being developed within Mersey Care,
"When was this started - when will this be completed (time scale)
when will this be available and who is the author/s"
5. The Liverpool Learning Disability Commissioning Strategy is
being refreshed this will include a section specifically on Autism
and will outline the commissioning priorities, and include an
implementation plan on how we will take this forward.
"When will this be available - Pleaser explain refreshed and who
will be doing the refreshing"
6. Please identify the members of the task & finish group
7. Donna Coleman the Commissioning Officer is the office who has
full responsability for Autism is this correct?
8. From what date did Ms Coleman receive this responsability/post?
Who gave Ms Coleman this responsability/title.
9. Please produce all Ms Colemans work/documents she has completed
on Autism from the date she has taken up this post to present date.
Your reply is in politic speech and tells me nothing at all, just a
letter dragging everything into a grey area.

presently the City Council doesn't have an Autism Strategy. However, as
was confirmed in our response to you, dated 15 February 2012, we are
currently developing our strategy through the Learning Disability
'Making it Happen Partnership'
I will treat the additional points as a further request for information
and have them logged and acknowledged accordingly

AUTISM STRATEGY.
Please add this to my FOIA
1). You state Ms Coleman commissioning manager is responsible for
Autism and the Autism Strategy (when Liverpool eventually get one)
What training has Ms Coleman undertaken about Autism, that
qualifies her for this post.
2). Please list all training undertaken by Ms Coleman, including
dates, length of training, where the training took place, and the
organisation who provided the training.
3). What are Ms Colemans/Liverpool City Council/Adult Social Care
Aims & Objectives for the future of Adult Autism in Liverpool.
4). If Ms Coleman has not undertaken any training why do Liverpool
City Council Adult Social Care think she 'The Commissioning
Manager' qualifies for this post.
