Dear Sir or Madam,

I have made an FoI's via ACPO to ascertain who authorised the Royal
Military Police the authority to carry quik-cuffs and batons on the
streets of mainland uk and to utilise marked up police vehicles on
the public highway. I have been informed the Military that the
secretary of state for defence authorised this matter. I would like
a copy of such authority.

Yours faithfully,

John Randall

Dear Mr Randall

You should be aware that MOD staffs are not formally tasked to
browse this website. It is MOD`s mail box that our staffs monitor
for receipt of requests. Fortunately today a casual browser spotted
your request had not been answered. On checking we identified that
it was never received in the MOD mail box. We have now arranged for
the request to be actioned.

To avoid a repetition of this in future, it is recommended that all
users of this site send any requests made from this site direct to
the MOD FOI mail box at [email address] from their own e mail
accounts. This will reduce any risk of non receipt from this
website due to any technical problems that are clearly occurring
from time to time.

Your sincerely

MOD FOI Internal Review Team
