Dear Sirs,
I am writing in relation to a request for Information I made to the
Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) by way of E-mail
dated Sunday 23 October 2011.
As you will be aware, section 10(1) of the Freedom of Information
(Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA) requires that you respond to a request
for information promptly and in any event no later than the
twentieth working day following receipt. My records indicate that a
response should have been received from COPFS to this request by
now and that none has been received.
I would appreciate an update as to when COPFS expect to be able to
respond to my request for information. It would be very much
appreciated if COPFS could either respond in full or provide an
update as to when a response can be expected by the close of
business on Wednesday 23 November 2011.
I look forward to your response in this matter.
Yours sincerely,
Alistair P Sloan
