Dear Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust,
Following redirection from a previous request
(http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/au...).
Would you please send me details of augmentative and alternative
communication devices supplied/purchased by your trust, over the
last five years, broken down by product name (So for example
Dynavox Xpress, iPod touch with TapToTalk, BigMack) - Devon PCT
have helpfully give examples on a previous request from another
user at http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/au...
I attempting to find out how many people who have poor or no speech
have a speech aid. In particular, I am interested in electronic
speech aids, and I would like to know how many have been supplied
by the trust during the last five years.
Yours faithfully,
Joe

Dear Joe
Thank you for your recent FOI Request. As NHS Central Lancashire have already informed you, Lancashire Care took over management of Speech and Language Services on 1st June 2011 and is not in possession of the historic information that you require. It is therefore not available under the Freedom of Information Act from Lancashire Care.
I recognise this might be a frustrating response for you, but I can only advise you to re-refer this request to NHS Central Lancashire.
I hope this answers your FOI. If you are unhappy with the way the Trust has handled your request, you may ask for an internal review by contacting the FOI Lead at [email address]
If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision.
The Information Commissioner can be contacted at:
Information Commissioner’s Office
Wycliffe House
Water Lane
