Thank you for your enquiry. The National Audit Office does not conduct
audits of local council finances. This is the responsibility of the
Audit Commission, a separate public authority. You can find out more
about them on their website at www.audit-commission.gov.uk

departments and agencies, as well as a wide range of other public
