Dear Information Governance

Why does this department feel the need to break the law with
impunity? I would like a internal review please into how this
department deals with certain queries.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Ms. Moore,

For your information, Nottingham City Council takes its responsibilities
under the law very seriously and, specifically with regards to information
rights legislation, continually endeavours to improve and enhance the
service we provide. We would refute your allegation that we `break the law
with impunity' in the strongest possible terms.

With regards to your request for an internal review, we are unable to
action your request as we have not yet responded to your current request
and we are still within the statutory deadline to respond. In addition,
your request for a review refers to `certain queries'.

Please note for future reference that your request for a review must
specifically state which of your requests you are requesting a review for.
Without this information we are unable to identify the relevant case and
unable to conduct a review.

Please also note for future reference that the deadline date is the date
that the Authority can respond no later than, it is not the date that the
Authority must have responded by.

I trust the above is clear.

With regards to your currently outstanding request, our reference
IGO/10-7162, a response to your request is being compiled and I expect it
to be issued to you by close of play today.

Regards,

Andrew Goodfellow
