Asylum Refusal Targets for UKBA Case Owners
J Parkes made this Freedom of Information request to UK Border Agency
The request was successful.
From: J Parkes
8 November 2010
Dear UK Border Agency,
I would like to know whether
a) there are targets for the number of asylum refusals a case owner
is expected to make in a specified period (e.g. a month) (or
alternatively whether the target is a percentage of cases
considered) and if so
b) what the targets are (e.g. 10 refusals a month, 80% of cases
considered, etc)
c) whether such targets vary from country-of-origin to
country-of-origin, depending on where the asylum-seeker is from.
Yours faithfully,
J Parkes
