Dear Sir or Madam,
As a keen supporter of the addition of the Ashington Blyth and Tyne
line to the Metro system via the use of dual power diesel /
electric hybrid rolling stock, I would be grateful if could send me
a copy of the assessment of rolling stock options you have

Dear Mr Davies,
Your e-mail dated 9th march 2009 has been forwarded to me as the person
responsible for responding to FOI requests on behalf of Nexus.
I am informed that at present Nexus has not made any assessment of rolling
stock options before deciding on fleet replacement.Any funding as part of
the Metro reinvigoration project in relation to fleet replacement is not
due to be committed until Phase 3 of the 'metro reinvigoration'
project, anticipated to be sometime after 2020.That being the case no
assessment has been undertaken as yet.
Yours Faithfully

Dear Colin Whittle,
In that case Colin, given that estimates have been published for
the total cost of the project, can you advise me as to how those
estimates have been arrived at if no appraisal has been undertaken
of rolling stock options?
Yours sincerely,
gareth davies
