Dear Mr Hodder
I write in connection with your request for information dated 23rd
September 2009 concerning the recent recruitment drive for Police
Officers.
Specifically, you seek disclosure of a percentage and number of the total
applicants who passed through the assessment centres, who got a score of
55-60%.
I can confirm that from the latest recruitment drive a total of 447
candidates attended with 100 of them scoring between 55-59%. This equated
to 22% of the total of attendees.
I have not included those that scored 60% as this is the Constabularys'
pass mark and those below that failed the Assessment.
I hope the above satisfies your requirements and would like to take this
opportunity to thank you for your interest in Avon and Somerset
Constabulary.
Yours sincerely
