You asked the following:
Could you please let me know what other venues were considered before
choosing Ashridge as the venue for the (November 2009) management
conference?

The answer is as follows:
We originally looked at holding the management conference internally but
there was insufficient space in any of our council buildings. The
following venues were then considered before choosing Ashridge: Crowne
Plaza, Church House, Lewis Media Centre, Cavendish Conference Centre,
Millbank Tower, Cranfield Management Development Centre and The Marriot,
Windsor.
