Dear Mr Johnson
I am emailing to respond to your FOI request to Wigan Council.
I have consulted my colleagues in Environmental Services, and we have
not spent any money on artificial plants in Wigan Town Centre. On this
basis, we do not hold any information relevant to your request. If there
are any specific artificial flowers which prompted your request, it is
possible that another organisation is responsible for them. However, I
would be happy to look into it for you if you can specify any particular
arrangement.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of this response, you can make a
complaint. Your complaint will be considered by a senior officer who is
not connected with this original response. Please let me know if you
would like to arrange this.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner, who is the
regulator for Freedom of Information. His website is
www.informationcommissioner.gov.uk, and his helpline number is 01625
545745. His staff may ask you to exhaust our internal complaints
procedure if you choose to complain to his office now.
