Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of
Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Foreign and
Commonwealth Office's handling of my FOI request 'Articles 43 and
45 UN Charter Agreements'.
There has been no reply to my request.

Dear Mr Hudgell
Thank you for your email. I am very sorry that you have not received a reply to your original email and follow up email which was forwarded to the Foreign Office department dealing with UN matters. I was assured at the time by this department that they would be responding to you.
Your email was not registered as a Freedom of Information (FOI) request. Instead we are treating this as 'business as usual'. This means that we are able to deal with this as a straight forward request for information, the type of correspondence we used to deal with routinely before FOI.
I will chase the department again and ensure that they issue a response to you quickly.

They have absolutely no power to decide to exempt your request from your statutory rights! That's totally unacceptable, make sure you press to get the results of your Internal Review!
