many works of art are owned by your council? How many of these are
in storage? And what is the total value of all these artworks?

Dear Mr Green
Many thanks for your email dated 15^th December asking for information
regarding Art work owned by Essex County Council and apologies for the
delay in responding. Please find below our response to the three questions
you have raised.
How many works of art are owned by your Council?
The Council owns 42 Fine Art Paintings
How many of these are in storage?
Of the 42 Fine Art Paintings, 2 are currently not on display.
What is the total value of all these artworks?
The Fine Art paintings have been assessed in 2010 as having an auction
sale value between £143,100 and £207,100 with an insurance value of
£283,000
I trust this information satisfies your request. However, should you

you further.

know. If I am unable to resolve the issue immediately, I will explain our
