Dear Sir or Madam,
As a local citizen I am concerned about the amount of drug use
there are in clubs in and around Huddersfield.
I would like to know how many arrests were made in 2009 for
possession of cocaine, ecstacy, Heroin and Marijuana and what the
outcome of the arrests were (whether they were cautioned, fined,
imprisoned, etc).

To Clarify on the points you raised, I would like to know the
statistics for the Huddersfield/Kirklees area.
I was unaware that i would be able to get individual pub/club
information, however I would like to receive information on all
individual clubs/pubs and licensed premises within the HD1 area
code.

Mr Wedderburn,
Thank you for your clarification. I will ensure the response relates to the Kirklees policing division.
In realtion to the other element of your request, I appear to have created further confusion. Unfortunately I
do not have a contact telephonenumber to clarify with you directly.
I was suggesting that we could narrow the number of arrests to the total number for pubs/clubs bars in
the area as opposed to the total number for the area. To give the number per specified premises would potentially engage
the consideration of other exemptions and may be less likely to be disclosed. Would you like us to
proceed with the request considering disclosure in relation to
a) the Kirklees area overall OR
b) all pubs/clubs within the Kirklees area OR
c) individual pubs/clubs within the Kirklees area?
I apologise for any confusion. We will proceed with your request immediately as we receive your clarification.
