Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to make an Open Government request for all the
information to which I am entitled under the Freedom of Information
Act 2000. In order to assist you with this request, I am outlining
my query as specifically as possible.

I would like to know the following:

•How many times has the West Yorkshire Police Force’s Armed
Response Unit been called out in the Bradford area each year, over
the past five years(2004-2009).

•On how many of these occasions has a member of the Armed Response
Unit actually fired their weapons, if at all?

•How many Armed Response Officers does the West Yorkshire Police
Force employ?

•How much does it cost to send out an Armed Response Unit? (If
possible, could I have a breakdown of the cost?)

I understand that under the Act, I should be entitled to a response
within 20 working days.

I look forward to hearing from you in the near
future.
