Armed Response Unit call outs in Lincolnshire

Dear Mr Knowles,

I am writing to make an Open Government request for all the
information to which I am entitled under the Freedom of Information
Act 2000. In order to assist you with this request, I am outlining
my query as specifically as possible.

If however this request is too wide or too unclear, I would be
grateful if you could contact me as I understand that under the
Act, you are required to advise and assist requesters.

I would like to know the following:
•How many times has the Lincolnshire Police Force’s Armed Response
Unit been called out each year, over the past five years
(2004-2009).

•On how many of these occasions has a member of the Armed Response
Unit actually fired their weapons, if at all?

•How many Armed Response Officers does the Lincolnshire Police
Force employ?

•How much does it cost to send out an Armed Response Unit? (If
possible, could I have a breakdown of the cost?)

I understand that under the Act, I should be entitled to a response
within 20 working days. I also sent a letter to the address that is
listed on your website regarding this matter. I would be grateful
if you could confirm in writing or by email that you have received
either request. I look forward to hearing from you in the near
future.
