Dear Mr Simpson

Thank you for your email.

I can confirm that on Monday 22nd June the Armed Forces Day Flag will be raised and the GLA have sent a number of marketing materials to schools, libraries and other stakeholders to help publicise the event. City Hall is working with London Borough of Southwark to produce one event within the borough and many other London boroughs are producing their own events.

Details of the GLA Armed Forces Day plans are available on our website using the link below and the Ministry of Defence have also disseminated advice on celebrating the event to honour our Armed Forces.

Thank you for taking the time to contact the Mayor of London.
