ARCP re-referral rates at F1 level

Thank you for your Freedom of Information Act request dated 26 July asking
how many F1 doctors were awarded outcomes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 respectively by
the ARCP for years 2008 and 2009.

2008 - Outcome 2 = 10, Outcome 3 = 10, Outcome 4 = 2, Outcome 5 = 0,
Outcome 6 = 0.

2009 - Outcome 2 = 9, Outcome 3 = 3, Outcome 4 = 3, Outcome 5 = 0, Outcome
6 = 0.

response please let us know giving your reasons for believing we have not
satisfied the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act. The matter
will then be considered by one of our executive directors who will respond
in writing. This letter will include details of the Information
Commissioner who you can contact if you remain dissatisfied with our

Following on from our response which I sent to you earlier today.

Please note that Foundation year one trainees do not receive an outcome
six as this is for the completion of the programme. They would instead
receive an outcome one if they have successfully completed the year and
can progress into Foundation year two.
