Dear Sir or Madam,

Will you confirm or deny if the Council has any record in its
archives of land it bought at Kepler Street Seaforth for the Star
of the Sea infant and Junior schools to be build on, which is shown
on OS SJ3396NW dated 1969 bounded by Kepler Street Seaforth and the
Liverpool to Southport railway line with Star of the Sea Infant
School in situ on it.

I am writing to acknowledge receipt of your email, dated 24th October,
in which you request the disclosure of information under the provisions
of the above Act.

I have begun a search for the information you are seeking and I am
awaiting replies from the Deeds Room Manager and the County Archivist; I
will contact you again when in a position to respond further. However,
please note that it is possible that any deeds for the area were
transferred over to the new metropolitan council in 1974; as such, if
you have not already done so, you may wish to make enquiries with Sefton

Dear Mr Robinson,

Request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000

I write further to your email of 24th October, in which you request the
disclosure of information under the provisions of the above Act.

I can confirm that Lancashire County Council does not hold any
information relevant to your enquiry.

It has also come to my attention that the County Council's Deeds Room
Manager has previously advised you on 2 occasions (letters dated 6th
June 2008 and 7th July 2008) that Lancashire County Council does not
hold this information, and that you should contact Sefton Borough
Council.

I therefore reiterate the advice of 7th July 2008 (letter) and 31st
October 2008 (email) that you contact Sefton Borough Council for the
information you are seeking.

I am sorry that Lancashire County Council has been unable to help
further on this occasion; in the event that you wish to complain about
the manner in which your enquiry has been handled, you should write in
