Dear Sir or Madam,
Please could you supply me with information concerning the
acquirement of Intrasis software by English Heritage. Specifically
I would like to know:
1: How much did it cost to acquire the Intrasis software? From
where were the required funds sourced?
2: What additional infrastructure and staffing costs were incurred
as a result of acquiring the Intrasis software?
3: Who authorised the purchase of this software?
4: What is the expected use life of the Intrasis software?
5: What research was conducted into Intrasis and its alternatives
prior to the purchase of the software?
6: What provision has been made for the storage of archaeological
data created by Intrasis? What is the expected useful life of this
data?
7: To what extent will Intrasis be used in the future? Please
provide an estimate concerning the percentage of excavations that
will use the software during the course of its projected use life.
Yours faithfully,
Joseph Reeves
