Thank you for your request for information dated 19 October 2009 and
received by the Freedom of Information Unit on 20 October 2009, concerning
approved lists. This request will be dealt with under the terms of the
Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Your request will now be considered and we aim to provide a response
within the statutory timescale of 20 working days i.e. 17 November 2009 as
defined by the Act, subject to the information not being exempt or
containing a reference to a third party. In some circumstances Dyfed-Powys
Police may be unable to achieve this deadline. If this is likely you will
be informed and given a revised time-scale at the earliest opportunity.

There may be a fee payable for the retrieval, collation and provision of the
information you request. If this is the case you will be informed and the 20
working day timescale will be suspended until we receive payment from you. If
you choose not to make a payment then your request will remain unanswered.

Some requests may also require either full or partial transference to
another public authority in order to answer your query in the fullest
possible way. Again, you will be informed if this is the case.

Should you find at any stage that you no longer require the information
requested, it would be appreciated if you could notify us that you wish to
withdraw your request.

Your request has now been considered and firstly I am obliged under S1 (1)
(a) of The Freedom of Information Act 2000 to tell you whether the
information is held by the force. I am in a position to inform you that
the Force does not hold information relevant to your request as outlined

Further to the response sent to you yesterday 26^th October 2009, please
see revised response that has come to light today 27^th October 2009:

I can confirm that no information is held by Dyfed Powys Police, as an
approved list of Architectural/Building Surveying service providers is not
maintained.

For all major projects, appointments are made following public
advertisement or via national/regional framework agreements.
