Dear Bristol City Council,
I am writing to request information under the Freedom of
Information Act, relating to the recent appointment of a 'Place
Making Director for Bristol'.
I understand this position was ultimately appointed to Mike
Bennett, however this request does not require any personal
information related to applicants successful or otherwise.
I would like to be provided with, at the earliest opportunity, the
following information related to this role and the recruitment
process which was followed:
1) The job description for 'Place Making Director for Bristol' as
advertised when seeking applicants;
2) Confirmation of how the vacancy was advertised - to include a
list of any websites or publications the role was advertised in,
and the actual advertisements themselves;
3) Confirmation of how many people applied for the role;
4) Confirmation of how many people interviewed for the role;
5) Any details on key performance indicators on which the role will
be measured for success;
6) Copies of any press releases / media statements announcing the
role or the appointment of Mike Bennett

I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information
Act, relating to the recent appointment of a 'Place Making Director for
Bristol'.
I understand this position was ultimately appointed to Mike Bennett,
however this request does not require any personal information related
to applicants successful or otherwise.
I would like to be provided with, at the earliest opportunity, the
following information related to this role and the recruitment process
which was followed:
1) The job description for 'Place Making Director for Bristol' as
advertised when seeking applicants;

2) Confirmation of how the vacancy was advertised - to include a list
of any websites or publications the role was advertised in, and the
actual advertisements themselves;
The role was advertised in The Sunday Times and The Times online.
Please see advert attached.
3) Confirmation of how many people applied for the role;
We had 43 applications.
4) Confirmation of how many people interviewed for the role;
6 candidates were interviewed for the role
5) Any details on key performance indicators on which the role will be
measured for success;
The objectives for the postholder are being developed. As they stand
