Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, UK Border Agency should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I have been calling every day by 9 am to the General Enquiret
office for appointment to get Set (o) since 26th
October and every day I have been told that the appointment is
full. The appointment is full till 11th Of Jan.
I look every day on the online booking and have never found
the dates available. Have heard that most of the Dates are given to
the Immigration experts outside and the internal staff are being
paid in advance to fix these dates..
I beleive there should be a different system for person who does
not want to go via the consultants/3rd parties.
Else the Common man would never get the dates and would have to
shed another £500-600 for no reasons
