Applications Contrary to Policies HE1, HE2 and/or HE4 in the North Wiltshire Local Plan 2011

Dear Sir or Madam,

How many planning applications together with corresponding listed
building applications and relating to farm or other domestic
properties (herein called the “Relevant Applications”) have been
made to North Wiltshire District Council in each of the last five
calendar years up to and including the year ended December 31, 2008
where the Planning Officer and/or the Conservation Officer gave a
recommendation to the Development Control Committee to (i) grant
consent and (ii) refuse consent.

Of the Relevant Applications how many were approved by the
Development Control Committee against the original recommendation
of the Planning Officer and/or the Conservation Officer.

Of the Relevant Applications how many of them did the Planning
Officer and/or the Conservation Officer report that the application
would be contrary to policies HE1, HE2 and/or HE4 in the North
Wiltshire Local Plan 2011 (or substantially corresponding
predecessor policies.

With regard to those of the Relevant Applications which were
approved by the Development Control Committee against the
recommendation of the Planning Officer and/or the Conservation
Officer for how many of them did the Planning Officer and/or the
Conservation Officer report that the application would be contrary
to policies HE1, HE2 and/or HE4 in the North Wiltshire Local Plan
2011 (or substantially corresponding predecessor policies.

With regard to those of the Relevant Applications for which
permission was refused how many were appealed against and of those,
how many resulted in the refusal being overturned.

I have today heard from the appropriate officer of the council and below is
their reply:-

The Councill does not keep an audio recording or contemporaneous notes of
actula words spoken at DC Committeess. However, foraml minutes of the
committee meetings are available on our website.

If you are dissatisfied with the response to your request and wish to
complain, please contact me in the first instance giving full details of
your complaint. This will then be considered by the Council's Head of Paid
Service, who will review any decision taken regarding the disclosure of the
information requested. You will normally be notified of the outcome of this
review within 20 working days of receipt of a complaint. You will be
advised if the review is likely to take longer.

If you remain dissatisfied following this internal review, you have the
right to refer your complaint to the Information Commissioner. Details of
how to contact the Information Commissioner in such circumstances will be
given at the time you are notified of the outcome of the Council's internal
review.

Thank you for your reply to my enquiry about contemporaneous
minutes of Development Control Committee meetings.

Your reply is linked to a separate FoI enquiry I made on March 20,
2009 and I just want to confirm that your reply is not a reply to
the said March 20, 2009 enquiry which I have set out below. I will
be obliged to receive your confirmation and advice as to when the

Snce 1st April, North Wiltshire District Council no longer exists, so I'd be very grateful if you could resubmit any follow-ups to your FOI request to its unitary authority successor, Wiltshire Council:
