Appeal target time for overpayment appeals

Jim Cook made this Freedom of Information request to Department for Work and Pensions

The request was successful.

From: Jim Cook

7 December 2009

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please advise me of the time limits that the DWP set themselves
when dealing with appeals against benefit overpayments.

Please advise of all relevant time limits, including
- time allowed to reconsider decision
- time allowed to prepare appeal submission

Please advise whether time limits vary depending on
- which office deals with the appeal,
- for different benefit
and provide each time limit for every office/benefit

Yours faithfully,

J.Cook
