Dear Staffordshire County Council,
From your recently published accounts there is an account code for
a payment to
ENTERPRISE (AOL) LTD LANCS LANCASTER HOUSE for a total of
£52,836,912.39. This is indeed a large payment, representing 22.4%
of expenditure to external contractors.
I request under the Freedom of Information Act the reason for this
spend.

This amount relates to the whole financial year 2009/10. Enterprise currently hold the contract to provide the County's highway maintenance service therefore all expenditure has been on highway maintenance.
