Dear Treasury Solicitor’s Department,
One of your employees, who also happens to be my son's mother, has
told me that she is unable to tell me when I will be able to see my
son over this summer and that my employer's policy on this matter
(i.e. advance notice of leave) is unreasonable. I would therefore
be grateful if you could supply me with your own policy on annual
leave notice so that I can ascertain whether or not she has to give
notice of proposed leave and, if so, how far in advance of the
period requested.
