Dear Sir or Madam,
Can a defense lawyer (in civil cases) wait until minutes before
entering the court room before "ambushing" the prosecution with
their defense?
Following on from this when asking the judge in the said case for
an adjournment to read the defense is it right for the judge to
reply with "keep quiet" and ignore the topic brought to the judges
attention?
