Alternative Provision Funding for 14-16 Age Group in West Sussex

L Evans made this Freedom of Information request to West Sussex County Council

The request was successful.

From: L Evans

19 October 2011

Dear West Sussex County Council,

Please would you tell me the level at which Alternative Provision
Funding (APF) has been set for the 14-16 age group to attend
college, as I have heard it has been set at £2,900? Could you
explain how this decision was reached and what data was used in the
process?

I believe that you will be receiving Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG)
from Central Government in March 2012 to the sum of £4,704.82 for
each child in West Sussex receiving APF and would like to know what
the £1,804.82 left after taking out the APF from the DSG will be
used for?

Yours faithfully,

L Evans
