ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION REGULATIONS - INFORMATION REQUEST 8405

 

Thank you for your e-mail dated 7 October 2011 requesting information
relating to Allotments.

 

Your request has been logged under reference number 8405.  I must advise
you that this request will be handled under Environmental Information
Regulations (EIR) and not the Freedom of Information Act 2000.  These
regulations are relatively similar to Freedom of Information Act but as
your request relates to information being dealt with by our Environmental
department, it is more appropriately dealt with under EIR.   This has no
effect on your request or the information you have requested.  You will
receive the information requested within the statutory timescale of 20
working days; you can expect to receive a reply by 4 November 2011.

 

I would advise you that the Regulations some exemptions that may prevent
release of the information you have requested. There will be an assessment
and if any of the exemption categories apply then the information will not
be released. If this is the case you will be informed together with your
rights of appeal.

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 – INFORMATION REQUEST - 8405

 

Thank you for your email dated 7 October 2011 requesting information
relating to allotments.  Responding to each question in turn I can provide
the following information:

 

 

     1) Allotment sizes and their respective rental prices from the

     period 2001 - 2011/12

Allotments are approximately 1/16^th acre.

    

     2) Allotment rental increases in percentage (%) terms for the years

     2001 - 2011/12

The annual rental charge is £28 with a £14 concession for OAP’s – these
charges have not increases between 2001 and 2011.
