Julie Hill left an annotation (16 July 2009)

I can confirm that 6 TONNES of bricks, glass, old shoes and metal was extracted from the Heath Gardens allotment in Twickenham by members of the public in October 2008, having been given a corner of this allotment as plots after being on the waiting list for ten years! This rubble has probably gone to landfill. The 6 tonnes was dug out by hand and we are STILL digging MORE out. The pile of bricks and rubble is growing again - probably 2 TONNES now and we have been asking the council to take away, but to date no reply....
