Dear Mr Willis,

Thank you for your enquiry regarding the average waiting times for an allotment in Sefton on the sites that we manage directly.

We do have sites which are self managed but I am unable to give details on these as the individual sites manage their lists.

Having looked at our most recent offers to persons on our lists the approximate average time as been about 4 ½ years.

However it would be difficult to accurately estimate the wait likely for someone currently joining our lists because this is dependent on turnover of plots.

To give you some idea in the last 12 months we have had a turnover of 37 plots for sites we directly manage, but in the same period in excess of 250 people have joined the list for those sites.

Hope this answers your query if I can be of any further assistance please don't hesitate to contact me direct.

Yours sincerely
