As of January 2010, please could you tell me:

1) How many allotment sites are there in Erewash for which Erewash
Borough Council has access to waiting list data?

2) What is the total number of plots on these sites?

3) What is the total number of people on waiting lists for these
sites?

4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?

5) How many new council allotment sites were brought into use in
2009? Please give:
a) number of new sites
b) names of new sites
c) total area of new land in hectares
d) total number of new plots

I am writing in respect of your recent enquiry for information held by the
Authority under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act.

Having consulted our Places and Environment directorate on your specific
request please see the response to your questions below:

1) How many allotment sites are there in Erewash for which Erewash Borough
Council has access to waiting list data?

Approximate number of people on the waiting list across the Borough, this
number can change on a daily basis, (due to waiting list forms being
received and/or plots becoming vacant and becoming re-let.

All sites are open to residents of Erewash

5) How many new council allotment sites were brought into use in 2009?
Please give:

a) number of new sites

b) names of new sites

c) total area of new land in hectares

d) total number of new plots

No new sites were brought into use in 2009, that being the case we would
inform you, in accordance with Section 1.1.a of the Freedom of Information
Act 2000, that the information you seek is not held by this authority.
Although, 3 new sites are planned for 2010. The number of new plots that
were brought into use in 2009 varied throughout the year as several plot
where broken up and others joined
